Wicked Good Keto Chocolate Bars
Ever have a craving for chocolate so strong you’re tempted to break ketosis? A craving so powerful that a piece of dark chocolate just isn’t going to cut it? Well, have no fear because I’ve come up with four different recipes for keto chocolate bars, and they are just as good as your favorite sugar-filled candy bars but so much better!
Don’t be intimidated, these chocolate bars are so easy to make! All you need is a set of silicone molds, a few simple ingredients, and your freezer and you can create your own keto-friendly candy stash sure to satisfy the strongest cravings. I do recommend using silicone molds because a sheet pan and parchment paper can get messy, real fast. Molds make prettier chocolate bars and they also make it easier to maintain portion control.
This recipe is the base of all my keto chocolate bars, but it’s just as good on its own. I always keep a few of these in my freezer because they’re just as good as a traditional Hersey bar, just keto-friendly. They’re best stored in the freezer because of the high butter content, but they’ll last for months…if you and your friends don’t scoff them down immediately.
Did you enjoy Mr. Goodbar candy bars when you were still eating sugar? If you did, then this recipe is for you. As long as you watch your serving size, you can still enjoy nuts and stay in ketosis. You can even swap out the peanuts for almonds or any other nut you enjoy.
Traditional crispy chocolate bars use puffed rice, but these keto chocolate bars use crushed pork rinds instead. You may be questioning this unique addition, but trust me, they’re absolutely amazing! They have the same great texture you’ll find in a Nestle Crunch bar, with fewer carbs and a dose of healthy fats.
You’ll want to prepare your tastebuds because these keto chocolate bars are the epitome of creamy, crunchy, sweet, and salty. As long as you watch your portions you can still enjoy pistachios and stay in ketosis. If you’re really worried about eating nuts you can skip them, but I think they compliment the strawberries perfectly. If they weren’t so filling you could eat the whole bar in one sitting – they’re that good!
I like to make them all that way I’m prepared for any candy craving I may have. You can keep them in the freezer for months as long as you use an airtight container or freezer bag.
