fat slobPeople don’t decide their future or their size. People choose habits and their habits shape their future and determines their waistline. A principle of life is sowing an reaping. As a man sows, so also will he reap.

Don’t plan to sow seeds of gluttony and eating junk food and get anything close to a harvest of a fit, healthy body. To get a different harvest means you must sow the right seed. How long you have sowed the wrong seed will determine how much effort is needed to attain the desired harvest. You must change your habit to get a different result. And also weed the old habits out.

I love it when people take action. Actions lead to results. In the Bible 1 Corinthians 9:27 it says “train your body and make it your slave so you will not be disqualified.” Training is not suggesting, and it is not saying if you want to. Training is doing it, putting information into action.

Many people each year want to get rid of a bad habit, a habit they chose in the past, based on bad information. You cannot simply get rid of a bad habit. You must exchange a bad habit for a good habit. It will take time, (at least 14 days) persistence and discipline. But the rewards will be enormous.

You’re Not Stuck With Your Family’s Genes

What to Do When You Need to Lose 10 Pounds Fast

Simple steps to get you on the road to effective weight loss. I’m in the same boat as everyone else. Occasionally, I discover that I’ve put on a few extra pounds. So I have to regroup and implement the circle of weight loss certainty.

My Daughters Wedding:

When my daughters wedding was approaching, I didn’t want to look like I forced myself into a tux for all those wedding pictures. Even a few pounds can make a difference when in front of a camera. So I decided to get lean. I made some simple changes and dropped 15 lbs. quickly. You can do it too. Here’s what I did.

First Thing

The first thing I did is start implementing my high metabolism exercise routine. The best fat-burning exercises target your larger muscles; quads, glutes, and hamstrings. These muscles have your biggest supply of glycogen. Working the larger muscles helps you to normalize your blood sugar. Maintaining good blood sugar levels means you will have less fat stored.

Favorite body weight exercises:

Some of my favorites are simple lunges. With your hands at your side, take a step forward with your right leg until your right knee is bent 90 degrees and your left knee just touches the floor. Now return to your starting position. Repeat the same process with your left leg. Start with 4 or 5 reps each leg, doing them as fast as you can. The next day you can increase the number of reps. Don’t overdo these on your first day, or your body may scream at you tomorrow morning or after 2 days.

Another favorite for increasing metabolism is simply running up and down your stairs as fast as you can. Start with 45 seconds and do as many trips as you can. Rest breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth for about 90 seconds and repeat the process. Again don’t over do the program when starting. But you do want to reach a level of deep breathing what I call oxygen debt.

Quality Multi-Vitamin is Very Important

Along with your high metabolism exercise make sure you are taking a high quality multi-vitamin (don’t go cheap and buy low quality from some discount store, your body will always be disappointed).
